The West-Central Africa Division (WAD) of the Seventh-day Adventist Church is set to host its highly anticipated Ministerial Retreat from June 28 to July 5, 2026, at Babcock University, Ilishan-Remo, Ogun State, Nigeria.
Held under the inspiring theme “Grounded in the Bible, Focused on the Mission,” the retreat will bring together pastors, ministerial leaders, administrators, and their families from across the division for a week of spiritual renewal, biblical reflection, leadership development, and mission-focused engagement.
The gathering comes at a crucial time in the life of the Church as leaders across the West-Central Africa Division continue to strengthen discipleship, evangelism, and member engagement throughout the territory. The theme underscores the Church’s commitment to remaining firmly anchored in the Word of God while advancing the gospel commission in a rapidly changing world.
Participants will engage in dynamic worship experiences, Bible-centered presentations, leadership seminars, prayer sessions, and discussions designed to equip pastors and church leaders for effective ministry in their respective fields.
A major highlight of the retreat will be the expected presence of senior leaders of the world Church, including the General Conference President, Secretary, and Treasurer, whose participation is anticipated to provide spiritual encouragement, strategic direction, and a renewed vision for mission. Their presence reflects the importance of the West-Central Africa Division’s contribution to the global mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
